Jacque's Fiesta Lime Guacamole

My friend Jacque Ludiciani is an excellent cook, and also has a degree in Exercise Science & Wellness! She's always coming up with new and interesting recipes. I was so excited when she posted this guacamole recipe because I love avocados.  A lot of people avoid avocados because they are high in calories and fat, but it's monounsaturated fat which actually helps lower cholesterol. They've also been shown to help you absorb the nutrients in others food better, and have cancer fighting properties! This is a great way to spice up your plain avocados, and it's WAY healthier than that stuff you get at the mexican restaurant.Ingredients:5 ripe avocados1 cup pico de gallo (more if you want to cut down on calories) 1 lime juiced2 raw jalepenos finely chopped1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime seasoning1 tsp sea salt (more to taste or if avocados aren't quite ripe enough)1 tsp black pepperDirections:Mix it all together! Jacque suggests using a potato masher to make it easier. The total calories are 1426 with only 46 that aren't from the avocados!  Great for parties, or just snacking.  She suggests this alternative to chips when you enjoy your guacamole: Get corn tortillas. Spray them with cooking spray and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake them at 425 degrees for 15 mins or so. This is way lower calorie than regular chips and cheaper than buying baked tortilla chips too! Thanks Jacque!! We look forward to hearing more from you.
